Trust & Data
Your client list is yours.
We never sell your data, and we never advertise to your clients.
Below is what we do with your data, who else touches it, and the things we are not in a position to claim yet.
Your data is yours
The records, the contacts, the history. You own what you put in.
We do not sell it
Not to a data broker, not to a lead buyer, not to anyone.
We do not advertise to your clients
Your client list is not an audience we sell access to.
What your client actually sees
The confirmation at the end of a booking on your site. Your business, your services, your prices, and nothing of ours.

Anything on this screen is something your client reads as coming from you. That is the reason we keep ours off it. Whatever your client sees here, you put there.
Your client meets your business. That is the whole of what is on the screen.
See the booking flow this endsWhat is documented today
Four plain facts, each one already written down on our security page. Nothing here goes further than that page does.
Where it runs
Managed United States cloud infrastructure, behind a network layer that filters abuse and absorbs attacks.
How it travels
Every connection is HTTPS with TLS, and the site enforces it rather than offering it.
Who can reach it
Access is by role, and accounts carry multi-factor authentication.
Card data
Handled by the payment processor, directly. It does not sit with Scope at all.
What we do not claim
Every trust page tells you what a company has. This is the part that usually goes unwritten, and it is the part you can actually check us on.
We are not SOC 2, ISO or HIPAA certified
We hold none of them today. When that changes this page changes the same day, and you will be able to ask for the report rather than take our word for it.
We do not offer an uptime guarantee
Our security page states an engineering design goal. A design goal is what we build towards, not a service level we are contractually promising you.
We do not claim Scope is PCI certified
Card data goes to the payment processor. Claiming their certification as ours would be the easiest sentence on this page to write and the least true.
We do not say your data is never shared
Delivering the product takes service providers, and they receive what they need to do their part. Not sold is a promise we keep. Never shared would be a sentence we could not.
None of this is on the page by accident. A promise we cannot back is worth less to you than a limit we will admit to.
You are not trapped
The fourth thing on our trust list, and the one that is easiest to test. A company confident you will stay does not need to make leaving difficult.
How switching works, in both directionsMonth to month
No annual lock-in, and nothing that has to be served notice a quarter ahead.
It leaves with you
What you put in stays yours on the way out as much as on the way in.
Common questions
What happens to our data if we leave?
It is yours, and it stays yours. The terms are month to month, so leaving is a decision rather than a negotiation. The switching page covers what moving looks like in both directions.
Is our data used to train AI?
Identifiable customer data is not used to train shared or public AI models without written consent. Aggregated and de-identified data may be used to improve the product. Those are two different things and we keep them apart on purpose.
Where is our data hosted?
On managed cloud infrastructure in the United States. We do not currently offer a choice of region, and if that matters to you it is worth raising before you buy rather than after.
Who at Scope can see our data?
Access is by role rather than by seniority, and accounts carry multi-factor authentication. Support reaching into an account to help you is the common case, and it is the case we hold to the same rule.
What happens if there is a security incident?
You hear from us. We would rather tell you something uncomfortable early than have you learn it from somewhere else. If you have found something, email support and give us a reasonable window before you make it public.
Can you complete our security questionnaire?
Yes, and we will answer the questions where the answer is no. Send it before the demo and you will have it back with the gaps marked rather than skipped.
Send us the security questions first
Bring the questionnaire, the clause your lawyer flagged, or the one thing your IT contact always asks. You will get an answer before the demo, including the answers that are not yet.
