Which report writers does this work with?
The report arrives as a file you attach or a link out to wherever it was written, so the question is usually whether your tool can produce one of those. Tell us what you use on the call and we will tell you straight rather than guess here.
Does the client get one link or several?
One inspection, one place to go. The report, the agreement and the invoice all sit against the same job, so nobody is sent three emails and asked to keep track.
What if a report goes out before the invoice is settled?
It does not open. The client can see it exists and is asked to settle the invoice and sign the agreement first, which is there to protect work you have already done.
Can agreements differ by service?
Yes. Each service brings its own, and a job with two services carries two. The client signs them together rather than one at a time.
Who can release a held report?
Whoever has the permission for it in your team. What has to be true before it releases is a setting rather than a habit, so it does not depend on who happens to be in the office.
Will Scope build its own report writer?
What is true today is that reporting is not where we are trying to win, and we are not going to hedge that. Your inspectors have opinions about the tool they write in and those opinions are usually right.
